We had a lovely suite which had original features and furniture. The hotel is clean and staff is polite and very efficient. The ambiance is lovely and there is a nice swimming pool, which was very refreshing after a hot day of sight-seeing. This hotel is packed full of antiques and interesting objects - a real part of India's history. The restaurant is excellent and the food is very delicious!

We stayed 2 nights at this beautiful old hotel. The entrance to the hotel and grounds are beautiful, with peacocks wandering round. The swimming pool seemed clean enough and the children enjoyed it. The rooms were large and clean. We ate at the hotel garden restaurant on both nights and found both the food and entertainment - traditional Rajasthan dancing very good. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were very helpful and friendly.

The public rooms are amazing, full of family portraits, incongruous Victorian furniture from when it was a family home, and great interior decor. The food is excellent too.
